This year, World Taekwondo Federation declared the Taekwondo Day and to celebrate the day, WTF manufactured Taekwondo Day��s memorial stamps. These stamps were distributed to officials and delegates of the countries that participated, and the VIPs on The 1st WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships.
World Taekwondo Federation already manufactured the memorial stamps for the July 2005 IOC General Assembly meeting but was not distributed.
Approximately 400 sheets of stamps were printed and these stamps were given to participated nations, executive committee members, presidents of the associations, VIPS, and as marketing materials.
Also, Taekwondo Day��s logo was shown to the public on September 4, 2006.
