World Taekwondo Federation (President Dr. Chungwon Choue) announced the outcome of sanction committee that happened on August 28, 2006. General Meeting in Ho Chin Min City, Vietnam on July, the announcement was announced the process and the result of the operation of international referees.

Because of the faulty operation of international referee, one of the WTF��s affair office members was fired due to his responsibility of this problem. Another staff was given a 3-month suspension.
Also, an executive member was transferred and two of other members were given warning. 23 international referees were given a 1-year suspension because of the misconduct.

As a result of the Sanction Committee:
Director of Sports Division, Sang Heon Lee was transferred to Marketing Division,
Director of Refereeing Division, Hae Min Yoo was transferred to Sports Division.

To create better and more productive working environment,
A staff at the Referee Division, Miri Kim was appointed to Marketing Division.
A staff at the Marketing Division, Mr. Jay (Jaewook) Lee, was appointed to Refereeing Division.

WTF took a responsibility that there would be compensation for the losses and damages.

Because of this incident, the operations of international referees were asked to be change. The international referee reform committee urged that WTF should improve more seminars, refresher course, and to improve the international referee system. Also, it was decided that the payment for referees would be $50 per day. To eliminate any further problems, all the payment of referees would be paid through online banking.
